Cornerstone
by Cornerstone OnDemand
Cornerstone holds an enterprise's learning and talent record: users, learning objects such as courses and curricula, transcripts of who completed what and when, certifications with expiration dates, and performance reviews. Connected to HR and operational data in a Lake, it shows whether compliance training is current, where certifications are lapsing, and whether learning shows up in performance.

02Data
What you can sync.
- Users
- Learning objects
- Transcripts
- Certifications
- Performance reviews
Bring Cornerstone users into the Warehouse with column and row rules in the database, so people data stays with the people allowed to see it.
Need more? Name any other Cornerstone data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.
03Credentials
Credentials you will need.
- OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token)
Cornerstone uses OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token). You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in Cornerstone OnDemand if you need help.
04Questions
Questions you can answer.
Once Cornerstone data is in your Lake, ask an AI Mind in plain words or build the answer in DataPrism BI.
- What share of employees in each division completed required compliance training on time?
- Which certifications expire in the next 60 days, and for which roles?
- Which courses have many enrollments but low completion rates?
- Do people who completed the leadership curriculum receive higher performance review ratings a year later?
05How it works
How it works in DataMind.
-
Pick Cornerstone.
Open Lake, pick Cornerstone in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Cornerstone API docs.
-
Answer a few questions.
The AI reads the Cornerstone documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example users and learning objects), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.
-
Your data lands in Lake.
It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Cornerstone data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.
