Amazon Ads
by Amazon
Amazon Ads holds the profiles, campaigns, keywords and product targets behind Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display, plus DSP orders for off-search buying. Its reports show spend, clicks, attributed sales and ACOS per keyword and target. Landing them in your own Lake lets that spend be set against real margin, inventory and repeat purchases, none of which the Amazon console can see.

Join Amazon Ads profiles with orders and CRM deals in the Warehouse to see return on ad spend by campaign, not by platform.
Need more? Name any other Amazon Ads data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.
03Credentials
Credentials you will need.
- OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token)
Amazon Ads uses OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token). You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in Amazon if you need help.
04Questions
Questions you can answer.
Once Amazon Ads data is in your Lake, ask an AI Mind in plain words or build the answer in DataPrism BI.
- Which Sponsored Products keywords have an ACOS above our contribution margin once product cost and Amazon fees are included?
- How much Sponsored Brands spend goes to our own branded search terms versus generic category terms?
- Which ASINs keep receiving ad clicks while they are close to running out of stock?
- Which product targets win orders at a lower cost than the keywords bidding on the same ASIN?
- Did weeks with heavier sponsored ad spend raise total units sold for the advertised ASINs, or only attributed units?
05How it works
How it works in DataMind.
-
Pick Amazon Ads.
Open Lake, pick Amazon Ads in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Amazon Ads API docs.
-
Answer a few questions.
The AI reads the Amazon Ads documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example profiles and campaigns), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.
-
Your data lands in Lake.
It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Amazon Ads data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.
