Pingdom
by SolarWinds
Pingdom probes websites and APIs from a network of locations and runs transaction checks through flows such as login and checkout. Its API returns check definitions, uptime summaries, response times by probe and outage periods. With that history in the Lake, each outage can be priced in lost orders, signups or tickets, and availability compared with what customer contracts promise.

02Data
What you can sync.
- Checks
- Uptime summaries
- Response times
- Transaction checks
- Outages
Keep Pingdom checks in your own Lake, on your servers, and report on it with the rest of IT.
Need more? Name any other Pingdom data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.
03Credentials
Credentials you will need.
- An access token
Pingdom uses an access token. You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in SolarWinds if you need help.
04Questions
Questions you can answer.
Once Pingdom data is in your Lake, ask an AI Mind in plain words or build the answer in DataPrism BI.
- What was monthly uptime per check compared with the availability promised in customer contracts?
- How many orders were lost during each checkout transaction check outage, against the same hour a week earlier?
- Which probe regions report slower home page response times, and how did that trend this quarter?
- Which outages lasted longer than fifteen minutes without a status page incident?
- Do response time increases come before jumps in support tickets?
05How it works
How it works in DataMind.
-
Pick Pingdom.
Open Lake, pick Pingdom in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Pingdom API docs.
-
Answer a few questions.
The AI reads the Pingdom documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example checks and uptime summaries), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.
-
Your data lands in Lake.
It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Pingdom data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.
06Pairs
Works well with Pingdom.
Sources teams join with Pingdom in the Warehouse, each one connected the same way.
