Cloud & Data Platforms

Connect Pinecone to DataMind OS.

Sync vectors, indexes and namespaces from Pinecone into your Lake, on your own servers. The AI reads the Pinecone API docs, asks you a few questions and builds the connector.

Pinecone

by Pinecone Systems

Pinecone indexes hold the embeddings behind search and retrieval-augmented generation, split into namespaces that often map to customers or document sets. Index stats show vector counts per namespace, and vector metadata ties each record back to its source. In the Lake, that footprint can be checked against customer status, source content and embedding spend.

02Data

What you can sync.

  • Vectors
  • Indexes
  • Namespaces
  • Index stats

Load Pinecone vectors into your Lake and model it in the Warehouse with the rest of your stack.

Need more? Name any other Pinecone data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.

03Credentials

Credentials you will need.

  • An API key

Pinecone uses an API key. You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in Pinecone Systems if you need help.

04Questions

Questions you can answer.

Once Pinecone data is in your Lake, ask an AI Mind in plain words or build the answer in DataPrism BI.

  1. How fast is the vector count growing in each namespace, and which tenants drive it?
  2. Which namespaces belong to customers who have cancelled but still store vectors?
  3. Which source documents changed after their vectors were last written?
  4. How do dimension, metric and record counts compare across our indexes?

05How it works

How it works in DataMind.

  1. Pick Pinecone.

Open Lake, pick Pinecone in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Pinecone API docs.

  2. Answer a few questions.

The AI reads the Pinecone documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example vectors and indexes), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.

  3. Your data lands in Lake.

It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Pinecone data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.
