Industry Solutions

Connect Lex Machina to DataMind OS.

Sync cases, judges and law firms from Lex Machina into your Lake, on your own servers. The AI reads the Lex Machina API docs, asks you a few questions and builds the connector.

Lex Machina

by LexisNexis

Legal analytics on US litigation: judges, courts, parties, counsel and outcomes.

Type
Legal research & court data
Interface

Built with
Connect Any API
Credentials
OAuth 2.0

02Data

What you can sync.

  • Cases
  • Judges
  • Law firms
  • Parties
  • Damages

Report on Lex Machina cases in DataPrism BI and ask an AI Mind questions about it in plain words.

Need more? Name any other Lex Machina data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.

03Credentials

Credentials you will need.

  • OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token)

Lex Machina uses OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token). You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in LexisNexis if you need help.

04How it works

How it works in DataMind.

  1. Pick Lex Machina.

Open Lake, pick Lex Machina in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Lex Machina API docs.

  2. Answer a few questions.

The AI reads the Lex Machina documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example cases and judges), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.

  3. Your data lands in Lake.

It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Lex Machina data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.

Your move.

Connect Lex Machina and every other source on your own servers. Two months, free.
