Coupa
by Coupa Software
Coupa covers the spend lifecycle from requisition to payment: requisitions and their approvals, purchase orders, supplier invoices, expense reports, supplier records and contracts. Bringing it into DataMind alongside ERP actuals shows how much spend goes through purchase orders and contracts, where invoices arrive without one, and how long the path from request to payment really takes.

02Data
What you can sync.
- Purchase orders
- Invoices
- Requisitions
- Suppliers
- Expense reports
- Contracts
Load Coupa purchase orders into the Warehouse and build board-ready reports and Slides from the same figures.
Need more? Name any other Coupa data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.
03Credentials
Credentials you will need.
- OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token)
Coupa uses OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token). You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in Coupa Software if you need help.
04Questions
Questions you can answer.
Once Coupa data is in your Lake, ask an AI Mind in plain words or build the answer in DataPrism BI.
- What share of invoice spend arrived without a purchase order, by department and supplier?
- How much spend went to suppliers with no active contract this year?
- How many days does a requisition take to become an approved purchase order, by commodity?
- How concentrated is spend among our top 20 suppliers, and which categories rely on a single supplier?
- Which expense reports carry policy exceptions, and in which departments?
05How it works
How it works in DataMind.
-
Pick Coupa.
Open Lake, pick Coupa in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Coupa API docs.
-
Answer a few questions.
The AI reads the Coupa documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example purchase orders and invoices), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.
-
Your data lands in Lake.
It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Coupa data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.
06Pairs
Works well with Coupa.
Sources teams join with Coupa in the Warehouse, each one connected the same way.
