Cloud & Data Platforms

Send data to Azure Event Grid from DataMind OS.

Send events from your Lake and Warehouse to Azure Event Grid, on a schedule or when you run it. The AI reads the Azure Event Grid API docs, asks you a few questions and builds the destination with you.

Azure Event Grid

by Microsoft

Managed event routing service on Azure that delivers events from custom topics and Azure services to subscribers by push or pull.

Type
Streaming & messaging
Writes
events
Built with
Write to Any API
Credentials
An API key, OAuth 2.0 client credentials (client ID and secret)

02Write back

What you can send.

  • Events

A sync creates Azure Event Grid records from your rows.

Keep Azure Event Grid events current from your own models, on the schedule you set.

03Credentials

Credentials you will need.

  • An API key
  • OAuth 2.0 client credentials (client ID and secret)

Azure Event Grid takes an API key or OAuth 2.0 client credentials (client ID and secret) for writes. You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in Microsoft if you need help.

04How it works

How it works in DataMind.

  1. Add Azure Event Grid in Writeback.

Open Writeback, click Add destination, choose Write to Any API and name the destination. Then tell the AI it sends to Azure Event Grid and point it at the Azure Event Grid API docs.

  2. Answer a few questions.

The AI reads the Azure Event Grid documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which Azure Event Grid objects to fill (for example events) and whether to create records.

  3. Preview, test, then send.

Choose a Lake table, a Warehouse table or your own SQL, map the fields and preview the requests. Send one test record, approve the first run, and the sync keeps Azure Event Grid current on your schedule.

Your move.
