Productivity & Collaboration

Connect Asana to DataMind OS.

Sync projects, tasks and portfolios from Asana into your Lake, on your own servers. The AI reads the Asana API docs, asks you a few questions and builds the connector.

Asana

Asana holds the plan for a team's work: projects, tasks with assignees and due dates, portfolios, goals and, on supported plans, time entries. Pulled into a Lake, that plan can be compared with what actually happened in revenue, support and hiring data, so leaders see which goals have real progress behind them and which teams carry too much.

02Data

What you can sync.

  • Projects
  • Tasks
  • Portfolios
  • Goals
  • Users
  • Time entries

Track Asana projects next to the business results they serve, in DataPrism BI and AI Minds.

Need more? Name any other Asana data the API returns, and the AI adds it to the connector.

03Credentials

Credentials you will need.

  • An access token
  • OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token)

Asana uses an access token or OAuth 2.0 (client ID, client secret, refresh token). You add the credentials once, when the AI asks for them, and it tells you where to create them in Asana if you need help.

04Questions

Questions you can answer.

Once Asana data is in your Lake, ask an AI Mind in plain words or build the answer in DataPrism BI.

  1. What share of tasks finish after their due date, by project and team?
  2. Which goals have the fewest completed tasks linked to them this quarter?
  3. How many open tasks does each person hold, and who is overloaded?
  4. How much time was logged on client projects compared with what we billed?

05How it works

How it works in DataMind.

  1. Pick Asana.

Open Lake, pick Asana in the source picker and name the connection. Connect Any API opens with a ready prompt that points the AI at the Asana API docs.

  2. Answer a few questions.

The AI reads the Asana documentation, then asks which credentials you will use, which data to sync (for example projects and tasks), whether you want a one-time load or a recurring sync, and which accounts or filters apply.

  3. Your data lands in Lake.

It builds the connector, tests it and shows you sample rows. Then Asana data loads into your Lake on your schedule, ready for the Warehouse, DataPrism BI and AI Minds.

06Pairs
